Monday..3 things

Top on the list is Kyle will officially be done with High School 7 days from today. I am so proud of him I could explode into tears... well I have and will again. 2ND Trey is back to school and doing OK on pain med. I do expect a call before the end of the day. Last as usually I lost 18.8 pound in 10 weeks just shy 1.2 lbs away of my 20 lb. goal. I am not disappointed in myself I think I did well. The looser challenge my work will be doing it for another 10 weeks--- this time it gets interesting because Amy now works with me and is going to do the challenge with us.... and we all know she is very competitive so hopefully some of that will rub off on me. :0 I love her being here at work with me.. she brought me a Starbuck this morning.. so sweet.

My Friday

We arrived at Baylor Surgery Center just before 9am Friday morning was met with good news. It seems the athletic dept. has an insurance policy that helps pay for injury's up to $1250. of our out of pocket...NICE. No payment due yesterday for the surgery. The anaesthetist ask if he could pray for Trey and the surgery before they got started so the Ortho doc and the Anaesthetist doc laid hand on Trey and prayed with all the nurses bowing their heads.. can I say I was take so back and was at peace with this whole thing. We got to bring him home around 2 and he seems to be doing fine. The pain blocker will wear off sometime today so pray for him to be able to be comfortable. David fixed an AWESOME dinner last night he is amazing cook, I am so blessed. Kyle bought a riding lawn mower off of craigslist last weekend. It is a craftsman listed new at sears for $1500. but on sale for $900 and he paid less than $500. It is 2 years old, he bought it because he and or David would have to push mow the backyard and with Trey out for the summer Kyle said I am not doing that back yard all summer with a push mower... he is so funny. Anyways everyone is still asleep so I will keep you posted on Treys recovery.

Trey Shoulder!

We will find out this morning when exactly the surgery will be for Trey's shoulder. It seems it is the best thing for someone his age. I will see if we can post the picture of the MRI later today. I feel like my mom when I told her Trey was having surgery she said "I think I will go throw up now". Seems a little overwhelming right now considering he is not passing Alg. 2 so who knows. Sorry this is random but that is just me right now. I will post when I know more.

Long Night

David and Kyle are out of town visiting my dad in New Mexico. We have new neighbors who have a big dog and with our dogs that was what made my night soooo long. Dang barking until I had Trey put them in the house. Needless to say I be tired. Trey goes to the prom tomorrow night I will post pictures. They are taking a limo hummer with several other couples to Frisco where the prom is being held. Other than that I am just chillin.

Gym

We did it we took the plung and joined a gym.The boys have to contribute some to help defray the cost, which is less than half of what it would cost them if they joined on there own. I will let you know how it goes but I did workout yesterday, which helped I am sure burn some of the coke off I drank this weekend. Mom and James came to town and we had so much shopping fun. I bought mom note pads that said shopping, shoes, and retail therapy. She loved it James not so much. Funny never the less. Easter was very quiet Kyle and David went to Greenville I stayed back because Trey did not get off work until 2. Works biggest looser challenge is coming along. I have moved up the board from being the least person to loose any weight the first week to the 7th to the 5th and I have lost the same amount each week averaging 2 pounds a week. I am happy with that. :)

Kyle

I have been pondering over what I want to say for weeks about Kyle. I think I have it... Kyle has finish school 9 weeks early such an accomplishment. We are sooo proud of him. What he has completed in the last 13 years is amazing, over coming his dyslexia and graduating from high school and then to do it early. Unless you have any kind of learning disability you can not even begin to understand what he has been throug. This is the message he sent me after his last class. :mom can we go to lunch oh yea I am done with school: Let me tell you I cried so hard. He brought me a bouquet of flowers and said thanks mom for helping me and being there to see me through school. Words cannot express how I feel right now. Now we are on to looking at different options for him maybe firefighting school or maybe a junior college. Whatever it will be I know he has determination to finish and be successful. Please pray for him to seek out guidance from The Lord as he makes these decision in the next few months.

From a Pool and a Deck to a Bench

After much conversations we have decided to take the pool down... It kind of made me sad to see it go good memories. The kids had such a good time playing water volleyball for the last 6 years. Last summer it was not used much at all so we figured the time was over. We used the decking and are in the process of building a corner seating area on the back porch. Half of it is done it is a mom wanted projected and boys did not but I know there is more memories ahead for us to have sitting on the back porch...
